Welcome to Paper Bag #46 - the Overnight Bag ~ songs of the night

Hey Folks,

Paper Bag #46! Here we go again!! The Overnight Bag featuring songs of the night is our theme this year. Once again, the theme has yielded excellent songs. The Body Bag is populated by the usual suspects as we honor the cultural touchstones of our generation who haved moved on.

Predictably, the the Overnight Bag is chock full of songs about night, darkness, moon, evening etc. Our Executive Board and vocalists have crafted an excellent song list for our enjoyment.

Advance sale tickets will again be $25 for paper tickets sold by Paper Bag participants. To encourage audience members to purchase tickets from Baggers, online price is $35 and day of show tickets are $40. You can pay for your tickets by handing our Fearless Leader cash (make sure he writes it down) or at the Bagsite (www.paperbagmusic.com). Click on the Bag Members Only link on the left side of the page. There is a paypal button on the Bag Members Only page that you can click to submit your $$. As we approach our 46th annual show I would like to express my admiration, gratitude and respect to every one of the 300 participants and 1,200 audience members who perpetuate this annual assault on common sense. There is no way to describe the event to outsiders, and no possible way for me to properly thank you for the myriad ways each of you has chosen to contribute to this unique event. I applaud you all.

2025 Itinerary

Monday June 23 - Bag~EVE at Mulcahy’s
1pm - Sound & Lights load in
3pm - Crew call- We always need help.
5pm - Stage gear load-in. All Bag musicians are
requested to participate on Bag eve
7-10pm - Run-through. We will rehearse as much of the show as we can get to in 3 hours. We must use our time efficiently.

Tuesday June 24 - Show day!
2pm - Stage gear load-in
4pm - Drum sound check. We always spend extra time on the drums. We just do.
5pm - Rehearsal
7pm - House opens
7:50pm - Musicians to the Courtyard
8pm - SHOWTIME

Wednesday June 25 - Bag Lag
~ sleep ‘till the pain goes away

Mulcahys graciously provides food for the crew on both Monday and Tuesday. Please be appreciative.

Only people wearing 2025 Bag shirts are
permitted onstage & in the back stage areas.

Please DO NOT bring other people into the areas reserved for the band & crew.
